Description
of the BRC strategy
The
BRC strategy is a combination of three indicators,
Bollinger
Bands - Volatility Indicator Bollinger Bands;
Relative
force index - relative strength index (momentum);
The
composite index is an index of the composite moment designed to solve
problems with RSI divergence errors, the programmer of this indicator
for metatrader 4 is Mladen.
Trading
rules for the BRC strategy
The
price should be near support / resistance level;
The
price should be exchanged at maximum Bollinger bands - in the upper
or lower band;
The
RSI and Composite Index indicators should have the same peaks or
lows. A further sign to enter the transaction is the presence of
divergences in these indicators.
A
deal should be opened when the composite index crosses one of the
moving averages (the red curve crosses the green or yellow curve).
Sell
example
Example
of a sales transaction within the BRC strategy
Consider
an example of a 4-hour AUD / USD sales transaction:
Arrow
1 indicates a strong level of resistance from which the price has
been reversed;
Arrow
2 shows that the price is moving along the upper Bollinger bands;
Arrows
3 show similar peaks of the RSI and the composite index;
The
arrow 4 indicates the intersection of the curve of the composite
index of the moving averages from top to bottom, which is a signal to
open a sales order on the next candle.
Buy
example
Consider
an example of a purchase transaction of AUD / USD time frame 4H:
Arrow
1 indicates the level of support from which the price has bounced;
Arrow
2 indicates that the candles are exchanged on the lower Bollinger
band. Note also that the candle pointed by the arrow is bounced from
the lower band;
Arrows
3 show that the RSI and Composite Index indicators have the same
structure, their troughs look very similar. Note also that the RSI
troughs create a lower minimum, while the composite index troughs
create a higher minimum - this is a bullish divergence;
The
arrow 4 indicates the intersection of the curve of the composite
indicator of the moving averages index from the bottom up, which
gives us the right to open a purchase transaction at the opening of
the next candle.
